Moran, Senate Vote to Strengthen Sanctions on North Korea

Washington, D.C. (westernkansasnews.com) Last weekend while everyone was eagerly anticipating the Super Bowl, North Korea provoked the far east with another rocket test. The latest action has been condenmed by the United Nations and earlier this week the US Senate voted unanimously to increase sanctions on the country. Kansas Senator Jerry Moran knows what is at stake.

Moran says currently its believed North Korea has 10-15 nuclear weapons that potentially increase to almost 100 by 2020. Increasing sanctions is meant to bring the rogue nation back to the negotiating table.
