Moran Calls on Senate Not to Shortchange Vet Healthcare
Washington D.C. (westernkansasnews.com) After the discovery of long waiting list, last year the bi-partisan Choice Act gave veterans the option to see a doctor of their choosing if they lived 40 miles from a VA or could not get an appointment within 30 days. Six months in Senator Jerry Moran is convinced the law has not lived up to its promise.
Moran feels this way after looking at the President’s budget proposal.
Moran is calling for the Senate to keep funding the VA a top priority.
