Miller: Looking Through the Eyes of History
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) This hero has a story to tell. Landing on Omaha Beach in Normandy Bill Miller of Dodge City proudly served his country in WWII.
Arriving on shore a day after D-Day, this year on June 6th Miller came back to the same place where so many of our brave soldiers died for the 70th anniversary of that fateful day. He shared his experience Thursday night at the Dodge City library.
On the trip, Miller went to the Battle of the Bulge and what remains of the concentration camp Dachau before his tour group returned home.
