Miles of Smiles Develops Skills and Confidence

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Those that see them for the first time believe they live up to the name in developing both the skills and confidence of those with special needs. Students with the “Miles of Smiles” Horse Riding Program demonstrated their abilities before members of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce last week.

Director of Programs Kate Howland tailors the program to each participant.

There are 42 students enrolled and others who are on a waiting list.
