Mayor Gives Whole Story During State of the City

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Mayor Joyce Warshaw gave her state of the city address at the Boot Hill Conference Center on Thursday.  In her speech she highlighted on the success of the recently opened Long Branch Lagoon which averages an attendance of 1,100 a day.

Warshaw also praised housing initiatives that have added a little more than 300 units on the market. One concern is another drop off in sales tax revenues which continues to slow down the local economy and for recruiting new businesses into the area.
