Maxine L. (Struble) McAdam

Maxine L. (Struble) McAdam, 91, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died March 27, 2015 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains in Dodge City. She was born on September 24, 1923 at Waterloo, KS the daughter of Tom and Carrie (Frey) Struble. 

She was the youngest of ten children. She married Eugene McAdam in Wichita at Blessed Sacrament Church on January 26, 1948. They lived in Kingman until 1969 when they moved to Cimarron. 

Maxine is survived by her husband, Eugene McAdam of Cimarron; two sons, Dan McAdam and wife Jeannette of Wichita, Jim McAdam of Wichita; three daughters, Michelle Leatherwood and husband Carl of Dodge City, Jill Leis & husband John of Minneola, Carrie Marx & husband Jim of Salt Lake City, Utah; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her nine siblings. 

Funeral mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 12:00 – 6:00 P.M. Vigil service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City.
