Mary Lou Coates, age 74, died May 8, 2015 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on September 7, 1940 in Fame Bottom, Oklahoma, the daughter of Cecil Miller and Oleta Marie Windham.

On May 30, 1998 she married Mark Coates in Shallow Water, Kansas. He died on May 1, 2015 in Garden City, Kansas.

 Survivors include: Two Sons, Nathan Burns of Dighton, Kansas, Bryan Coates of Moses Lake, Washington; Two Daughters, Darlicia and Mark Ladner of Scott City, Kansas, Kristi Coates of Moses Lake, Washington; Five Brothers, Cecil Miller, Jr., Perry Miller, Bobby Miller, George Miller, Roger Miller ;Four Sisters,Kelly Thompson, Lisa Mills, Betty Smith, Robin Miller; Five Grandchildren; Jordan and Bailey Ladner, Brenton Ladner, Megan Burns, Brittany Burns, Nikki Burns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Keith Burns.

Memorial Services will be held at the Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. 

There will be no calling times.

Inurnment will take place at Valley View Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
