Mary F. Barlow
Mary F. Barlow, 69, died Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Homestead Health and Rehabilitation, Garden City.
Mary was born in Church Hill, TN to James and Helen Wallen Hurst. Mary lived in Dodge City most of her adult life. She moved to Hoisington, KS in 2009.
Mary worked for Cocoa-Cola Bottling for numerous years. She then earned her CDL license and was a truck driver for many years prior to retirement. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and bird watching.
Mary is survived by two sons, Tony Mitchell of Great Bend and William Barlow of Topeka, a daughter Marilyn Porter of Garden City, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Robert and Ellis Hurst, a sister, Shirley Helton and a daughter Angela Marrie Sunday.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
