Mary Emaline Eichenauer

Mary Emaline Eichenauer, age 87, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses. She was born April 14, 1926 at Garden City, the daughter of Aimell Lavern & Annetta (Meyers) Wright. Mary married Glenn E. Eichenauer on May 25, 1944 at Garden City. He died on May 13, 2006.

Mary lived in Scott City as a young child and moved to Garden City and attended Garden City schools. After her marriage she and her husband moved to Dodge City. In 1959 they moved to Garden City. Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidery, needlepoint, quilting & watching her soap operas and game shows. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband & 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Survivors include 1 son, David Eichenauer of Garden City; and 1 sister, Lois Hunschild of Garden City.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, 9:00 AM to Service Time Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Rev J. D. Tyson officiating.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens in Garden City.
