Margarita Gonzalez-Villalobos, age 72, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born January 17, 1948, in Panalachi, Chihuahua, Mexico the daughter of Juan and Maria Concepcion (Villalobos) Gonzalez.

Margarita grew up in Mexico with her family where she worked for the City of Panalachi Department of Family and Children. Margarita has resided in Johnson, Kansas with her family since 2002. She loved her family very much and could always be found in the kitchen cooking meals for her loved ones. She enjoyed keeping up with her family on FaceBook, always reading about their adventures and sharing her joy with them. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and praying the Rosary.

Margarita is survived by her sons, Abraham Gonzalez and wife Ibeth, and Juan Carlos Gonzalez and wife Alicia, both of Johnson, Kansas; 8 sisters, 2 brothers and 6 grandchildren.

Margarita is preceded in death by her parents; companion Enrique Gonzalez, and one brother.

Vigil and Rosary service will be Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 8:00 PM and Funeral Mass will be Monday, August 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM, both at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses, Kansas with Reverend Aneesh Parappanattu, MSFS officiating. Visitation is Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 2:00 until 8:00 PM, and Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 2:00 until 6:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson, Kansas.
