Management of Big Pool is Changing Hands

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Garden City Recreation Commission stated at their monthly meeting on Monday night that they have asked to give back management of the Big Pool back over to the city by the end of the year. 

The Big Pool has gone through repairs over the last several years reducing significantly the water consumption. City Manager Matt Allen says he is well aware of all the money it takes to upkeep the facility.

The Recreation Commission has had oversight of the Big Pool since 2003.
