Two Separate Driving Fatalities This Week
Ensign, KS (westernkansasnews.com) State troopers report a man from Ensign died after a head on collision Wednesday morning shortly before noon at US 56 three miles west of Ensign in Gray County.
The driver of the pickup was attempting to pass a semi when it went into the other lane and struck the vehicle driven by 27 year old Richard Hixon head on. Hixon died four hours later.
23 year old Koll Graybill of Santanta was taken to Western Plains Medical Complex. Three of his passengers in the the pickup didn’t appear to suffer significant injuries.

Hugoton, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A man from Johnson City died when his minivan crashed into a semi in Stevens County. 28 year old James Farnham was on CountyRoad Y, nine miles north of Hugoton and failed to brake at a stop sign when the crash occurred.
