Man Enters No Contest to Murder Charge
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A man from Garden City has entered a plea of no contest to a charge of second degree murder in a deal with Finney County prosecutors. 28 year old Cesar Acevado-Fierro was charged with his role in connection to last April’s shooting outside the East Garden Village Mobile Home Park that killed 21 year old Karlton Waechter. Acevado-Fierro can expect to get a prison term of up to 13 years.
33 year old Jeffrey Rigdon and 32 year old Michael George Junior are being brought up on the charge of first degree murder. Rigdon will make his next court appearance in April, George in May.
