Authorities Foil A Kidnapping Plot
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police from Garden and Dodge City along with agents for the Federal and Kansas Bureau of Investigation have arrested a man accused of hiring someone to kidnap his own daughter. The man identified as 47 year old Gerry Black wanted to hire undercover agents he believe were members of a cartel, to forcibly take his daughter from the custody of his ex-wife who lives in Macksville. If successful, Black reportedly wanted both he and his daughter to leave the country. Authorities arrested Black around 8:30 Thursday night at a business on Campus Drive.
