Lt. Gov to speak at wind project in Minneola
Minneola, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Wednesday August 30 Bloom Wind Project will hold their grand opening celebration in Minneola.
The celebration is for Capital Power’s recently completed 178-megawatt Bloom Wind project, located in Ford and Clark Counties. Scheduled speakers include KS Lt. Gov Jeff Colyer and Mark Zimmerman, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Commercial Services, Capital Power.
A turbine tour will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the speakers set to begin at 4:30 p.m. The Bloom Wind Operations Building is located at 11510 Yucca Road in Minneola.
