Lori J. Welch

Lori J. Welch, 53 died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at her home in Garden City. She was born December 23, 1962 in Garden City the daughter of Owen Gordon & Rose Marie (Schiffelbein) Heeke.
Lori grew up in Garden City and attended Garden City schools. She moved to Flagstaff, Arizona in 1979 and then to Phoenix, Arizona in 1990. She returned to Garden City 2001 and has lived in Garden City since. Lori worked in residential construction as a construction worker for most of her life. She married Phillip Welch II in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Survivors include a son Phillip Welch III of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister Carleen Heeke of Tucson, Arizona; and 3 brothers Duane Heeke of Garden City, Kansas, Richard Heeke of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Heeke of Tucson, Arizona. Lori is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Cheryl Heeke.
A private family service will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
