Local Students Participate in Boys State 2017

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Over 430 rising seniors from across the state recently participated in the 80th American Legion Boys State of Kansas Leadership Academy. The event was held at Kansas State University June 4-9.

Boys State is described as a “learning by doing” political exercise that simulates elections, political parties and government at the state, county and local levels.
