Local Officials Keep Close Eye on KDOT’s Role in Future Projects
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) After a group of local officials lobby legislators in Topeka there are several areas of interest that came from their meetings. One of which was identified by Garden City Manager Matt Allen on the ability of KDOT to continue pouring money into projects that will meet long term objectives.
KDOT lost another 25 million dollars in the latest budget and there is a growing concern about how all these cuts could eventually slow down economic activity.
