Linda Marie Befort

Linda Marie Befort, age 51, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was born September 8, 1962 at Idaho Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Alfred Lee & Roberta May (Williams) Frank. 

Linda grew up in Mud Lake, Idaho and graduated from West Jefferson High School. She worked as a cook and at the potato factory. In 1991 she moved to Kansas and lived in Lakin and Deerfield before moving to Ingalls. She worked as a cook for the Ingalls schools and as a cashier for the Cimarron Presto Store. She enjoyed her computer, gardening, music and her pets. 

Survivors include her fiance , Ed Zink of Ingalls; 2 sons, Andy Befort of Ingalls, Mitch Befort of Garden City; daughter, Shellie Befort of New London, Missouri; father, Alfred Frank of Monteview, Idaho; sister, Debbie Cautle of Terreton, Idaho; and five grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Pierceville Federated Church in Pierceville with Rev Terry Major officiating.

Graveside Service: 1:30 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Ingalls Cemetery in Ingalls.

Interment: Ingalls Cemetery in Ingalls.
