LifePoint Health merger involves Western Plains Medical Complex

BRENTWOOD, TEN. — LifePoint Health, Inc. and RCCH HealthCare Partners have completed a merger and will now be operating as one company, LifePoint Health.

Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City will now be connected to an even stronger network of community hospitals, regional health systems, physician practices, outpatient centers and post-acute facilities that spans across 30 states, according to a release.

According to LifePoint Health’s website, “LifePoint and RCCH are among the nation’s leading healthcare providers, owning and operating networks of hospitals, post-acute service providers and outpatient centers that are integral to their communities. Both companies share a commitment to providing high quality care to regional markets.”

The two companies combined for over $8 billion in revenue in the 2017 year. The two companies also combined for 7,000 affiliated physicians, approximately 60,000 employees and more than 12,000 licensed beds.
