Liberal woman dies in rollover crash
Seward County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Liberal woman died as a result of a single-vehcile accident just before noon on Monday.
According to the report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 33-year-old Adriana Rosales of Liberal was southbound on Western Avenue, when she went left of center and failed to navigate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned several times across the railroad tracks, coming to rest on its roof facing north in the westbound lane of U.S. Highway 54, just west of the Western Avenue/U.S. Highway 54 intersection.
Rosales was taken to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, where she died from her injuries.
According to the KHP report, she was not properly restrained.
