Liberal man killed in grain elevator accident
Haskell County, KS(westernkansasnews.com) A Liberal man was killed in a grain elevator accident Thursday afternoon. Just after 3:30 Haskell co Sheriff’s were called to the Archer Daniels Midland facility at 1892 Hwy 83.
A man was trapped in a grain elevator and two ADM employees were trying to get the trapped man out. Emergency services were unsuccessful in trying to remove the man. At 6 p.m. Javier Trejo, 25, of Liberal was pronounced dead. An autopsy will be performed, but no further investigation is expected.
