Lease Option Potential Alternative to Prospective Developer of DCCC Land

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Dodge City Community College is talking with a developer on selling land of 140 acres near 14th Street. There are many details need to be finalized and another option floated out by DCCC Board Trustee Floris Jean Hampton includes not an outright sale, but instead leasing the property.

Part of this consideration is the urgent need for more businesses to call Dodge City home in keeping a greater share of customer money in town.
