Laying Down the Law in Dodge City

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Indoor Professional football comes to Dodge City.  The Law is just weeks away from their very first game.  With teams in larger markets like Lincoln and Wichita, Owner and General Manager Ricky Bertz believes bringing his team to a smaller area can build a loyal fan base.

Bertz believes community involvement has become a big reason why the Law have already made a name for themselves.

For example the Law recently played in part in both the Dodge City women’s fair and KalidEscape. The next question is who are going to play for the Law? That task falls to Head Coach Sean Ponder.

Ponder is open to giving local players a shot.

Coach Ponder says because of the area and numbers they need, the team can not go exclusively with local players.
