Garden City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-After two rounds of the AJGA Championships at Buffalo Dunes, Garden City’s Taylor Larsen seem primed for a run at the title. Unfortunately it didn’t end exactly the way he envisioned.

Larsen shot a 9-over par in the final round-bringing his three-day total to 226; good for fifth place.

“My bad shots were bad today,” Larsen said. “The difference the previous two days is that I worked around my bad shots.”

Larsen was tied for the lead entering play on Thursday. Montana product Tate Tatom won the event with a final-round 74.
