Larger Air Carriers May Soon Have to Cancel Some Flights
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The problem has already bitten passengers at Dodge City Regional Airport. Airport Director Corey Keller says flights have been cancelled because the co-pilot has met a new Federal Aviation Administration requirement to have a certain number of hours in the cockpit.
The concern is this problem could eventually hit carriers at larger airports.
For now the problem at smaller regional airports like Dodge City has seem to stabilize. If a flight is cancelled, Keller says airlines are giving plenty of advice notice to passengers so they can make other plans.
