Lake Scott Health Advisory Rescinded
(westernkansasnews.com) The health advisory for Lake Scott was rescinded today after sampling of the water revealed that the E. coli has dispersed.
On May 9 The Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism issued the advisory after a fish kill was reported and the KDHE found elevated levels of E. coli in parts of the lake.
The lake is now reopened for regular recreational activities.
