Lady Demon track wins, boys 2nd at Great Bend Invitational
Great Bend, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Dodge City High School girls track put on an impressive performance to win the Great Bend Invitational Thursday. The Lady Demons totaled 160 point, beat second place Kiowa County by 38. The boys took second place, also scoring 160 points and finishing 13 points behind Great Bend.
The Lady Demons were led by Chidera and Ezinne Okoro who both boasted a first and second place finish. Savana Wilson finished first first in the 100m hurdles and third in the pole vault. Ayanna Hensley won the two mile.
Jaiel Johnson led the way for the boys finishing first in the 100m and second in the 200m. Dawson Williams won the 110 hurdles and Javier Marquez took first in the 3200m.
