Lady Beaver volleyball eager to take the court
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–While practices started for the Lady Beaver vollebyall team on Monday, the season opener is approaching in a hurry. The 30-member Scott City team has been working this week in preparation for the season.
While the team lost four seniors off a team that went 25-13 last year, just missing the sub-state championship team. It was the second straight 25-plus win season for Scott City, who has three seniors on this years roster.
The season gets started in a week, with a quadrangular in Oakley, and this year, have made some tweaks to the schedule.
Shelby Kite is in her second year as the Lady Beaver head coach, while she has two new assistants to the staff in Sarah McCormick and Lauren Robinson.
