Lack of Experience Should Not Prevent Teens From Landing Summer Job

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A number of students took advantage in meeting 25 companies who were on site at the Garden City High School Job Fair last week. The question for applicants who want a job, but may not have much experience is how to catch the eye of a perspective employer.

Anthony Dahl of Foley Equipment understands for young people there is more latitude on what companies are looking for.

You can have your resume professionally done. The other part is doing well on the interview. Books are available to work on those skills and then practice in front of someone who you might not feel comfortable with or who can give constructive feedback.
