KHP: Minor Injuries Reported From Dodge City Plane Crash

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Highway Patrol now says all three people on board a small plane that crashed just south of the Dodge City airport Wednesday morning suffered minor injuries and one had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. The plane reportedly was coming from Wellington. Troopers report that the pilot told them he lost airspeed and clipped a couple of trees before going down. Although roads are open around the crash scene at Lariat and 114th motorist are asked to avoid the area.
