KHMS inviting vets to breakfast Friday

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The student council at Kenneth Henderson Middle School will honor veterans of the community by inviting them to a breakfast on Friday, November 10th, at 7:15 a.m. in the school’s atrium, 2406 Fleming Street.  The school would like to have veterans whether they are active duty or retired from any branch of the military, to attend the breakfast and program.

Following the breakfast there will be a short presentation by the Junior Leadership Corps who will present the colors followed by the national anthem.  There will also be a performance by the school’s jazz band and the choir will sing a medley of service songs for each branch of the military.
