Voting Results From Tuesday Night
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) It was a tight race, but in the end Dodge City has selected their three representatives for the city commission. Current city commissioner Rick Sowers received the most votes at 436 barely edging out former state representative Jan Scoggins with 432 votes. Mayor Kent Smoll finished third with 417 votes. Sowers believes Dodge City’s best days are ahead.
Scoggins found running a campaign relaxing and fun.
Scoggins says she appreciated the help from city officials and voters in letting her know about key issues.
