Kenneth Henderson Middle School to celebrate 40th Anniversary
Kenneth Henderson Middle School will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Friday, May 11th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. There will be bounce houses, food trucks and photos with Freddy Falcon during the event. The school has also put together picture collages of past yearbooks and there will be tours of the building provided during the celebration.
Kenneth Henderson Middle School serves students in seventh and eighth grades. It provides educational and extracurricular programs to meet academic, social, emotional and physical needs of students. The school provides classes in language arts, music, English, math, science, fine arts and social studies.
Kenneth Henderson is the namesake of one of the two middle schools in the USD 457 school district. The district has named many of its schools after educators who have served in the schools.
