Kelly grew up in Lamar and graduated from Lamar High School. After his schooling he farmed in Eastern Colorado. In 1975 he moved to Ford where he was a truck driver, hauling grain and cattle. In 1999 he moved to Finney County and worked at RJC Farms, Inc. He enjoyed hunting, watching the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Royals & NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his Father, 1 Son- Bryan “Casey” Jones & 1 Brother- Gary Jones.
