KDOT: Utility work on U.S. 50 at Charleston scheduled for Monday

Utility crews will be working on power lines on U.S. 50 one mile west of Charleston on Monday, April 15. U.S. 50 will be closed for approximately 15 minutes at approximately 11 a.m.

Following the closure, traffic will re-open, but the westbound passing lane will remain closed during daytime hours on Monday and Tuesday so that crews may complete their work

KDOT urges drivers to buckle up, ditch the distractions and pay attention to all work zone warning signs, and be prepared to stop.
