KDOT Encourages Creativity to Put Brake on Fatalities Day
(westernkansasnews.com) KDOT years ago asked the question what if there were a day where no traffic fatalities occurred. That sparked a poster drawing contest with young people asking them to come up with their most creative way to encourage safe driving habits.
Kirk Hutchinson of KDOT says the Kansas Turnpike Authority has now added a video contest for high school aged kids.
Each video has to be from 6-60 seconds. Put the Brakes on Fatalities Day is October 10th. For more information including rules and deadlines go to ksdot.org.
