KDOT beginning mill and overlay project in Jetmore

Crews will begin a mill and overlay project on U.S. 283 beginning at Best Street in Jetmore and continuing north to the railroad crossing in Ness City on Monday, March 19th.

U.S. 283 will be reduced to one lane guided by a pilot car during working hours with an approximate delay of 15 minutes during the project. KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, slow down when approaching a work zone and be prepared to stop.
