KDOT Grants Provide Needed Boost For Road Projects
(westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Department of Transportation is handing out grants for road improvement project throughout SW Kansas and three towns in Southwest Kansas will be receiving City Connecting Link funds.
Kirk Hutchinson of KDOT says Garden City received 300-thousand dollars about roughly half what is needed. Fowler received 289-thousand dollars for improvements to K98 and Ness City 300-thousand dollars for US 283. Fowler and Ness City would still have to come up with 100-thousand dollars to complete their projects.
