Kansas Unemployment Has Slight Bump
Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A slight increase in state unemployment as the jobless rate rose from 5.1% in June to 5.4 % last month. Senior Labor Economist Tyler Tenbrink of the Kansas Department of Labor is not worried about the recent jump.
Kansas is still at near record employment.
