Kansas State Legislative session begins Monday

Topeka, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas State Legislature is opening their 2018 session on Monday January 8. The pressing issue of course is school funding after the Kansas Supreme Court said the state’s latest effort to fund K-12 education was inadequate Garden City State Senator John Doll on the issue of school funding.

In our conversation Doll also touched on some other issues that need to be addressed like Medicaid and paying for college.

The legislature is expected to begin their new session Monday afternoon.
