Kansas State Coach Bill Snyder And Player Reaction After 51-9 Win

Manhattan, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Kansas State Head Coach Bill Snyder and selected players answered questions from the media, following a 51-9 victory over Missouri State Saturday night at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan. The Wildcats were led by junior running back John Hubert, who had 152 yards on 12 carries, and one touchdown. Hubert had a 95-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that was the longest in Bill Snyder Family Stadium history, and one yard shy of the all-time longest run in K-State history. The Wildcats opened the game in the fourth quarter with 35 points, after leading 16-9 after the third quarter. Nate Davis, a former Liberal Redskin and Garden City Broncbuster, led the Bears of Missouri State with 12 tackles, 1 sack and 2 tackles for loss.

Dodge City’s Laton Dowling (90) gets the signs from the sidline while playing a reserve role in Saturday’s game vs Missouri State. Dowling had two kickoff returns for 19 yards as a part of the special teams unit.
