How “KanCare” is Doing More With Less

Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Despite criticism when the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare became law, many people wondered why Kansas didn’t take the federal money and expand the state’s Medicaid program “KanCare”.  Representative Dave Crum’s committee has oversight over the program and believes that the state has addressed the needs of those in “KanCare” even while turning down the additional money.

Crum says the state has poured in an additional 52 million dollars for physically and developmentally disabled Kansans over the last three years.
