Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The annual K-State Catbacker Tour continued on Wednesday at the well-known K-State Fry at HRC Feedyards west of Scott City. Around 250 Wildcat fans were on hand to here from representatives from the Kansas State Athletic department, as well as faculty representatives from the College of Veterinary Medicine.

An auction took place in between speakers to raise funds for the athletic departement. Among the things auctioned included a ride in the Harley Day game vs TCU, East Suite box seats, autographed Bill Snyder golf club, autographed footballs and a blow up of a pitcure of Collin Klein on the cover of Sports Illustrated from 2012.

Those that spoke to the Wildcat faithful included the “Voice of the Wildcats” Wyatt Thompson, Athletic Director Gene Taylor, head football coach Bill Snyder, head men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber, and assistant women’s basketball coach Chris Carr. Also speaking were player representatives from men’s basketball (Austin Budke, DJ Johnson & Pierson McAtee) and from the football team (Trent Tanking, Davis Clark & Tanner Wood).

This weeks tour continues with a golf tournament and banquet Thursday in Colby and a golf tournament and banquet on Friday in Hays.
