K-96 resurfacing project to begin in Greeley County

Crews are expected to begin a resurfacing project on K-96 in Greeley County on Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation. This mill and overlay project will begin at Colorado/Kansas state line and continue east to the Tribune. 

Motorists should expect delays as traffic will be reduced to one lane guided by a pilot car in the work zone.

Venture Corporation of Great Bend is the contractor on this $2.5 million mill and overlay project, which is expected to be completed in October, weather permitting.
