K-25 Chip Seal Project to begin on Wednesday in Wichita County

WICHITA COUNTY, Kan. — Crews are expected to begin a chip seal project on K-25 from the Kearny/Wichita county line north 19.1 miles to the south city limit of Leoti on Wednesday, June 12.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by flaggers and a pilot car. KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, and be prepared to stop.
Heft and Sons of Greensburg is the contractor on this $559,000 project which is expected to be completed in July, weather permitting.
