June L. Vsetecka, age 86, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas on Monday, September 16, 2013. She was born on April 30, 1927 in Rush County, Kansas, the daughter of Lyle LaClaire and Emma Esther Waudby Newcomer. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since September of 1958 moving from Great Bend, Kansas, she was a Grocery Clerk and a CNA for the Scott County Health Department until her retirement.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas.

On April 6, 1947 she married B.F. Vsetecka in LaCrosse, Kansas. He passed away on June 10, 2002 in Scott City, Kansas.

Survivors Include:

  • Three Sons Tom Vsetecka of Wichita, Kansas
  • Galen Vsetecka of Garden City, Kansas
  • Rob Vsetecka of Scott City, Kansas
  • Kayla Steffens of El Centro, California
  • Two Daughters Terri Jantz of Garden City, Kansas
  • One Sister Mary Cook of Overland Park, Kansas
  • Eleven Grandchildren
  • Fifteen Great Grandchildren
  • One Great Great Grandchild

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and One Brother – Ben.
