Jeremy Charles Stein

Jeremy Charles Stein, age 32, of Ulysses, Kansas died Monday, September 16, 2013 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. He was born March 2, 1981, in Johnson, Kansas, the son of Mike and Charlotte Marie (Richardson) Stein.

Jeremy grew up in Ulysses where he attended school and graduated from Ulysses High School in 1999. He graduated with honors from Hutchinson Community College with an Associates Degree, and graduated from Washburn University with a BS Degree in Criminal Justice. Jeremy was an INE Technician in the oil and gas industry. He loved sports, guns and archery.

He is survived by his son, Chase Cortez of Ulysses, Kansas; parents, Mike and Charlotte Stein of Ulysses, Kansas; brother, Kyle Stein of Ulysses, Kansas; grandfather, Charles Richardson of Kendall, Kansas; and many family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol Richardson, and William and Ethel Coulter.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses, Kansas with Reverend Sam Bynum officiating.
