Jeffrey A. Hill

Jeffrey A. Hill, 70, died August 8, 2016 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. He was born on October 8, 1945 in Dodge City, the son of Virgil and Anne (Shultz) Hill.

Jeffrey was raised in Fowler, graduating from Fowler High School in 1963. He went on to further is education at Fort Hays State University where he received a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Mathematics. He also attended Indiana University and studied Philosophy. Jeffrey taught one year and also worked for Burlington Railroad. He was a self employed computer programmer before moving to Nebraska in 1995. While in Nebraska, he worked for National Dynamics as a computer programmer and Nebraska Book Depository as a bookkeeper. He later worked for Cabelas, retiring in December of 2015. Due to his health, he recently returned to Dodge City to be near family.

He is survived by three sisters, Janet Fincham of Meade, Judy Hill of Dodge City, and Carla Patee of Dodge City; two nieces, and four nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dorothy Hill, and one niece, Jennifer Patee.
