Jeanette Marie Brown, 68 died Monday, June 29, 2015 in Winfield, Kansas. She was born May 7, 1947 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of James E. & Armella (Frank) Brown.
Jeanette grew up as a child in Garden City. She moved to Winfield, Kansas in 1963 and has lived in Winfield since.
Survivors include her mother Armella Brown of Rowlette, Texas; a brother David Brown of Puyallup, Washington; a sister Marilyn Ann Collins of Rowlette, Texas; three aunts Marcella Ochs of Springfield, Missouri, Charlotte Baier of Garden City, Kansas, and Martina Roth of Garden City, Kansas; and 31 first cousins. She is preceded in death by her father James E. Brown and her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Frank.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with Fr. James E. Baker as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family requests memorials given to the Creative Community Living of Winfield, Kansas in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
